India’s national crush Southern star Rashmika Mandana has made her debut in Bollywood. Rashmika starrer ‘Goodbye’ will be released on October 7. The new song of this film ‘The Hick Song’ has been released recently. Rashmika went to Delhi on this occasion. This is his second visit to Delhi. He then shared his experience working with Amitabh Bachchan to the Indian media.
Talking about the experience of working with Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika said, ‘Bachchan sir is a wonderful person. Because, I am completely different as an actor before acting in the film “Goodbye” and after acting in “Goodbye”. Bachchan sir has a big role in it. He is the best teacher. I am glad that I got to do my first Hindi film with him.’
Rashmika said, “I came to Bollywood for my fans. They gave me lots of love. They used to ask me why I am not doing Hindi films. When I was live on social media, fans would say, I have to do a Hindi film. After that I started listening to Hindi scripts. Because the audience wants to see me in Hindi films. Meanwhile “Pushpa” came. I am very happy with the reaction of the audience. Today I have a Hindi film. I started my journey in Bollywood. Now let’s see where we go.’
Asked about Rashmika’s thoughts on the North vs South debate, she said the audience will decide. “I am too young to comment on this,” he said. Recently my film “Sita Ramam” was released. I got a lot of love not only in the South but also from the audience in the North.’
Rashmika is called India’s national crush. In this context, he said, “Such a thing did not come to my mind. What does national crush actually mean? But of course it is human love. This love encourages me. This increases the responsibility. So that I can do a better job.’
Apart from Rashmika Mandana, Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Pavel Gulati, Eli Abram, Sunil Grover, Sahil Mehta and others will be seen acting in the film ‘Goodbye’ directed by Vikas Bahl.
