He was caught red-handed by central Paris police while buying illegal cocaine. A Paris police official said, “A young man was selling illegal drugs under a residence. He was in possession of a variety of illegal drugs, including cocaine. About 75 paper wrappers were found. Synthetic drugs have also been found. Craig went to buy 1 gram of cocaine from the young man around 12:30 pm. At that time two people were caught red-handed.

The alleged seller is 17 years old. The Australian hockey midfielder is 29 years old. Therefore, a complaint of buying prohibited drugs from a minor has also been filed against him. The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) also confirmed the incident. “Craig is in police custody,” the Australian team said. Investigation has started. This incident will not affect our team. Police authorities are being contacted.

Australia’s hockey team has been knocked out by losing to the Netherlands in the quarter-finals of this year’s Olympics. After 52 years, they also lost to India in the Olympics.
