Bollywood’s veteran actor Arun Bali starrer ‘Goodbye’ released today. This morning he said ‘goodbye’ forever. Arun Bali breathed his last today at 4:30 am on Friday. Bollywood and film world mourned his death.
A dark shadow has descended on Bollywood since the Corona period. Every now and then the news of the death of an artist is coming up. Now the 79-year-old television and film actor Arun Bali has passed away. This famous actor passed away at his residence in the suburbs of Mumbai early this morning.
Arun Bali was ill for several days. For a long time he was suffering from severe illness like neuromuscular disease myasthenia gravis. He was treated at Hiranandani Hospital for a few days. Arun Bali’s son Ankush told a daily that his father was responding well to treatment. The veteran actor was constantly battling with this serious illness. But he could not fight the last fight. Ankush said that Arun Bali’s mental state was changing for two to three days. He is survived by one son and three daughters. It is known that Arun Bali’s two daughters live in the US. The veteran actor will be cremated only after they arrive in India. Several Bollywood stars and fans are condoling him on social media.
Arun Bali started his acting career in the nineties. He made his debut in the acting world with the famous filmmaker Lekh Tandon’s television show ‘Dusra Cable’. In this serial, he played the role of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s uncle. Arun Bali’s notable films are ‘Three Idiots’, ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’, ‘PK’, ‘Baaghi’, ‘Airlift’, ‘Oh My God’, ‘Panipath’, ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Satya’, ‘Hey Ram’, ‘Ready’, ‘Loge Raho Munnabhai’, ‘Barfi’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ etc. His last film was ‘Goodbye’.
Apart from this, in 2000, he played the role of Chief Minister of undivided Bengal, Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy, in the critically acclaimed film ‘Hey Ram’. The actor was also honored with the National Award as the best producer.
