Is Vikram Beda feeling the pressure of the box office before the release for the massive success of the film? In response, Hrithik said, ‘I have stopped thinking about the box office income since War. I am proud, I got the chance to act in films like Vikram Beda. At first I was surprised to read the script of this film – how can a good script be written. I haven’t been able to get out of that state yet.
Hrithik will be seen in the role of ‘Veda’ in the film. Southern star Vijay Sethupathi was seen in this role in the Tamil film. On the question of competing with an actor like Vijay Sethupathi, Hrithik said, ‘Hey, you scared me. My responsibility is to please the director of the film. If they are happy after my shot, nothing can be better than that. I want to work with directors from whom I can learn something. And I can enrich myself. Hrithik will be seen in Indian action in Vikram Veda. In this context, he said, ‘I have many injuries and injuries on my body. So it took a lot of time to do the action scenes of this film. There are many fight scenes in the film. It was not easy to do. The first two days were quite difficult.
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of Vikram in the film Vikram Beda. After two decades, Hrithik again acted in a film with Saif.
Talking about the experience of working with Saif, Hrithik said, ‘I tried to squeeze myself as much as I could in this film. Because, opposite me, there is an actor whom (Saif) I have respected for the past few decades. Saif is a bad actor for me. His acting style is very realistic. It was very difficult for me to act in front of an actor who has fascinated me for 22 years. Honestly, I had to be very careful while working with Saif. Saif’s acting was so realistic that I felt that I should not overact anywhere. Because of him my character has become more realistic today. Saif enriched me.’
When asked about the reaction of his two sons about Hrithik’s picture, he said, “I always get feedback from the boys. They grew up watching a variety of films. They have different views about the picture. I respect their point of view. After watching my old movies, they say, what have I done? I am sure, if they make the film, it will be a progressive film.
Hrithik said that a lot has changed in him after Covid. The actor said that now the importance of his life has changed. In this context, he said, ‘I am a very restless person. So I meditate regularly. Before every shot of Vikram Beda film, I sat in the van and meditated. After that I felt a kind of happiness in myself. I used to get a strange peace from my heart.
Hrithik said that the film Kaabil has turned his life around. He said, ‘Kaabil has shown me the way. Then I found a new way. I didn’t enjoy acting much before Kaabil. I started enjoying this movie. I think my work is better than before.’
Towards the end of the chat comes the most talked about topic of the moment—South vs Bollywood conflict. In this context, Hrithik said, ‘I don’t see any difference between the South and our industry. For me, all films are Indian films. But we have to wake up. We have to make films by understanding the audience’s taste.
